The Editor-in-Chief provides overall academic leadership for a journal or book series. This role includes defining editorial scope, overseeing peer review standards, making final publication decisions, and appointing associate and guest editors where appropriate.
Associate or Section Editors manage manuscripts within defined subject areas. They oversee the peer-review process, assess reviewer reports, recommend editorial decisions, and ensure consistency with the journal’s academic standards.
Guest Editors are appointed for specific thematic issues or special collections. They manage submissions related to the special issue under the oversight of the Editor-in-Chief and in accordance with Femington’s editorial policies.
