This policy applies to:
By submitting a manuscript, registering for a membership, or making a payment to Femington, you acknowledge and agree to the terms set forth in this policy.
The Article Processing Charge (APC) covers the costs associated with:
For APC purposes, the service is considered delivered and consumed upon issuance of the formal manuscript acceptance notification. The APC reflects the editorial and administrative work completed up to that point.
Membership services are considered delivered upon:
Once activated, membership benefits become immediately available for the applicable term.
Membership fees may be charged on a monthly, annual, or lifetime basis, depending on the plan selected at the time of purchase. Renewal terms and pricing are communicated at the point of purchase or renewal.
Members may cancel automatic renewals at any time to prevent future billing. Cancellation does not affect access to benefits already granted for the current paid term.
Membership fees are generally non-refundable once the membership term has commenced. Refunds or credits are not provided for:
APCs are due only after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication. Femington does not require APC payment at the time of submission.
If an author elects to withdraw a manuscript after acceptance and after APC payment has been made, the APC is not refundable, as the editorial service has already been delivered.
Once an article has been published online, the APC is non-refundable.
In the event of a retraction resulting from academic misconduct, ethical violations, or significant errors attributable to the authors, APCs will not be refunded.
Femington recognizes that authors may face financial constraints. Requests for APC-related considerations may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis in accordance with internal guidelines and editorial independence. Such considerations, where granted, do not alter the fundamental service delivery model described in this policy.
In the event of a verified technical or administrative error resulting in duplicate billing for the same service, Femington will refund the duplicate amount upon confirmation.
In rare and exceptional circumstances not covered by this policy, Femington may review billing concerns at its discretion. Any resolution does not constitute a precedent for future cases.
Users are encouraged to contact Femington directly regarding any billing or payment concerns before initiating external disputes or chargebacks.
