A. Requirement for a Data Availability Statement
Every manuscript submitted to Femington must include a Data Availability Statement (DAS) placed at the end of the manuscript or in a designated section.
The statement must clarify:
- Whether the data are publicly available.
- Repository name and DOI or URL.
- Any restrictions on access.
- Conditions under which data can be requested.
- Whether no data were generated or analyzed.
Policy Requirement
- A manuscript cannot proceed to peer review without a valid Data Availability Statement.
